Lilly the Collie has discovered a new game. Dropping the tennis ball into the stream and seeing how far down stream it will go. So far its 3 – 0 to the stream. 

She is very good at dropping the balls into the foaming water, but less good at actually picking it out of the water. In fact she is hopeless. She just watches it bob and tumble away and then gives me a quizzical look as if to say well what are you going to do about it? And of course after my tumble and slide last week, I am going to do nothing. So tennis balls are off the menu at the moment. The Frisbee it is then. Accept we both know that it does not float.
